Who We Are:
The National Law Enforcement Recruiters Association (NLERA) is the largest law enforcement, corrections, military and private security human resources organization in the United States. With membership representing all 50 states and organizations at all levels of law enforcement and private security, NLERA membership truly represents the broad spectrum of public safety professionals.
What We Do:
NLERA assists law enforcement, corrections, military and private security recruiters and applicant investigators attract qualified candidates through intensive recruiter education, the exchange of leading practices, successful diversity initiatives, and through networking among members, law enforcement, community leaders, and related association partners.
NLERA’s Chapters:
NLERA is divided into three regional chapters: Western, Central and Eastern. Each region is represented by a Chapter President. NLERA maintains several member committees focused specifically on producing a “best practices” recruiters and applicant investigators guide which will become available to all NLERA members. NLERA is also developing several new and exciting tools for instructing members.
